THE CHEF
Erick Cielo is a second-generation chef, who has been around restaurants his entire life. His expertise and discipline has long earned him praise from Arizona to Alaska.
His specialty began with French Cuisine before his time at Katsuya, where he excelled in the culinary arts of Japan. By being spontaneous, he is able seam flavor with aesthetics and the menu is an embodiment of that.
THE TEAM
Daniel Shemtob approaches food as he does with life; passionate and with a twist. He has also attained a new culinary benchmark by winning Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race not once, but twice!
With that many letter As to his name, Akarad is always ready to bring his A game in hospitality. Anytime. Anywhere. Anyone.
The offbeat branding of the restaurant is brought to you by Nara. His background in the arts, and OCD, are showcased throughout the space.
The restaurant is an homage to the diverse background of people coming together to build something special.
